Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 September 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and First Papers Technologies Pvt. Ltd. They apply whenever you use firstpapers.com or any service we offer through it. If anything here is unclear, write to us at firstpapersteam@gmail.com and we will explain it.
1. Who we are
First Papers Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is a company incorporated in India, with its registered office in Mumbai, Maharashtra. In these terms, "First Papers", "we", "us" and "our" mean the company. "You" means the person using our services.
2. What we do
First Papers helps you prepare official government documentation for yourself and your family: passports, birth registrations, identity documents and similar applications in the countries we support. We work out what your situation requires, collect your information once, pre-fill the official forms, generate the supporting paperwork and guide you through submission and tracking. We do not control government fees, timelines or outcomes. Those sit entirely with the authority handling your application.
Two things we are not, and it matters that you know them:
- We are not a government or consular agency, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by any government or consular body. Every application is decided by the authority that receives it, not by us.
- We are not a law firm and we do not give legal or immigration advice. What we provide is procedural guidance and preparation.
3. Your account
You need an account to use First Papers. You must be at least 18 years old to create one. When you apply on behalf of a child or another family member, you confirm that you are their parent, legal guardian, or otherwise have their authority to act. Keep your sign-in details safe; you are responsible for activity on your account. If you think someone else has accessed it, tell us immediately.
4. What we expect from you
- Give us information and documents that are true, accurate and yours to share. Applications built on incorrect information get rejected, and that is on the applicant, not us.
- Use the service only for lawful purposes and only for genuine applications for yourself and your family.
- Do not attempt to probe, disrupt or reverse engineer the service, and do not impersonate anyone.
5. Fees and refunds
Our fee covers preparation and guidance. It is shown to you clearly before you pay, and it is separate from any fee charged by a government authority.
- If you cancel before we begin work on your application, we refund our fee in full.
- Once your forms have been generated or your application has been submitted, our fee is non-refundable.
- Government fees are collected by the relevant authority and are outside our control. We cannot refund them.
To request a refund, write to firstpapersteam@gmail.com from your registered email.
6. Your documents and information
You stay in control of your documents. How we collect, use, store and delete your information is described in our Privacy Policy and Data Security pages, which form part of these terms. The short version: we use your information to prepare your applications and for nothing else, and we never sell it.
7. What we cannot promise
Government procedures change often and without notice. We work hard to keep our guidance current, but we cannot guarantee that every requirement is up to date at every moment, that an application will be approved, or that an authority will act within a particular timeline. The service is provided on an "as is" basis to the extent permitted by law. For anything critical, the official communication you receive from the authority is what counts.
8. Our content
The First Papers name, website, guidance content and the way our service works belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them commercially without our written permission. Your documents remain yours; you give us only the limited permission needed to process them to provide the service to you.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, our total liability to you for any claim connected with the service is limited to the fees you paid us for the application concerned. We are not liable for decisions, delays or errors of any government authority, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law.
10. Suspension and ending the relationship
You can stop using First Papers at any time and ask us to delete your data. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or misuses the service. If we close your account before beginning work on a paid application, we will refund that fee.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. The date at the top tells you when they last changed. If a change is significant, we will let you know through the service or by email. Continuing to use First Papers after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra. If you have a problem, talk to us first; most issues are resolved with a conversation.
13. Grievances and contact
For questions, complaints or grievances, write to the Grievance Officer, First Papers Technologies Pvt. Ltd., at firstpapersteam@gmail.com. We acknowledge grievances promptly and aim to resolve them within the timelines required under applicable Indian law.
